We always share our “after” product, but wanted to bring you in on some of our current projects! Take a behind the scenes look with us on our design process and planning for some exciting, upcoming installations.
After our initial discovery call and consultation with the client, we take the following steps to get started…
Always Start with layouT.
The potential of a room could be hiding in something as simple as the layout! Before we make any design choices, we evaluate the current layout and either gather our own measurements or ask our virtual clients to provide us with the necessary information. We almost always provide options to the clients to make sure the space not only looks aesthetically pleasing, but will be functional for their needs.
Provide the client with choices.
Everyone’s style choices are going to be different! It is essential to remember as a designer that you are catering to the vision of the client, and not your own personal style. As seen below in a current bathroom remodel, at the time of Round 1 design review, the client selected our third option of finishes, materials, and layout. We have since made adjustments to some of the selects.
